Roanoke, Virginia – Meridium Inc., the leader in asset performance management solutions, today announced that its RCMOTM (Reliability Centered Maintenance and Optimization) solution is an SAP-endorsed business solution. RCMO enables the creation and evaluation of asset strategies for the process, power and discrete manufacturing industries and is the only reliability centered maintenance solution designed and developed completely within the SAP NetWeaver® architecture, allowing for swift implementation and seamless integration with SAP Service and Asset Management™. Co-developed by SAP and Meridium, RCMO achieved xApps-Certification in August 2006 with several Ramp-Up customers including: TransAlta, Queensland Alumina Ltd, and PT Excel. With the RCMO solution, customers can easily evaluate their asset strategies with proven methodologies such as RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) and FMEA (Failure Modes and Effect Analysis) and quickly implement recommended strategy changes to optimize equipment performance, help control risk, and assist in improving the reliability of production assets. Clients also can monitor the performance of asset strategies using RCMO’s integration to SAP Business Warehouse to ensure asset effectiveness is constantly measured for continuous improvement. SAP-Endorsed Business Solutions are complementary to SAP software offerings, are developed in accordance with SAP development guidelines, and provide additional choices and flexibility for businesses running SAP software. SAP-endorsed business solutions are powered by the SAP NetWeaver platform and are offered by SAP partners. The endorsement builds on Meridium's already successful business relationship with SAP. "RCMO has generated tremendous interest in the SAP customer base,” according to Hans Joachim Lockermann, SAP Director of EAM Solution Management. “SAP customers who have seen the RCMO solution are impressed with the ease of use and seamless integration with SAP Service and Asset Management™. We expect RCMO to proliferate the use of the RCM methodology, because now customers can really make it a living practice by continuously monitoring and fine-tuning their strategies leveraging SAP NetWeaver." "SAP’s enterprise service-oriented architecture (enterprise SOA) is very attractive to our growing partner community," said Rami Branitzky, senior vice president, Platform Ecosystem. "By providing complementary ‘Powered by SAP NetWeaver®’ solutions, such as Meridium’s RCMO, SAP's vast ecosystem of partners is delivering innovation and value to joint customers.” For more information on RCMO™, visit www.rcmo.com For more information on Meridium, visit www.meridium.com _________________ Any statements contained in this document that are not historical facts are forward-looking statements as defined in the U.S. Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995.
