Meridium Releases RCMO v2.1

Roanoke, VA – Meridium, the global leader in asset performance management (APM), today announced the release of version 2.1 of RCMO® (Reliability Centered Maintenance and Optimization), a solution co-developed by SAP and Meridium, and designed to operate exclusively with the SAP® Enterprise Asset Management™ solution. Customers who have implemented RCMO include Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company, TransAlta, and Queensland Alumina Ltd. With this release, both the RCMO® and Meridium APM product have successfully completed the SAP Solution Qualification Process, which ensures that a product delivers functions and processes appropriate both for the industry and for the smaller business. The qualification process also takes into account the implementation methodology and supporting collateral, such as training material and online help. RCMO® version 2.1 provides a significant step forward in the capabilities of the RCMO® application and its integration to the Meridium APM platform, including these new features: - Integration with Meridium Asset Strategy Implementation
The new integration allows RCMO to automatically build SAP Plans/Items/Task Lists/etc. through capabilities provided in the Meridium ASI module. This integration adds the automation capabilities of ASI to RCMO’s arsenal of features and fulfills Meridium’s long-term objective of providing integration between the RCMO and APM platforms. - Decision Logic Builder Configuration Tool
With previous releases of RCMO, Meridium provided a Decision Logic Builder capability which steps users through a series of questions to document details about the effects of a failure mode and to provide suggestions on how to mitigate those risks. In the current release, Meridium has delivered a configuration tool that now allows users to define the questions, answers, and logic paths displayed in the Decision Logic Builder. - Improved Management of Archived Data
RCMO® has tracked and stored revision history from its initial release. With this new feature, Meridium provides the administrative control to easily purge and export archived data from the system.
